A designer vagina is one of the fastest growing cosmetic surgery trends around the world which has been popularised by celebrities.
The procedure's actual name is labiaplasty, which involves altering the size of the labia minora.
It can be for both aesthetic reasons or for practical reasons, such as, the extra tissue is causing discomfort during sex or exercise.

It involves shortening or reshaping the vaginal lips with the unwanted tissue cut away using a scalpel or laser.
The loose edge may then be stitched with fine, dissolvable stitches.
From start to finish, the operation takes around one to two hours and usually patients can go home the same day.
What is vaginoplasty and labiaplasty?
There are two different types of surgeries when it comes to designer vaginas.
Labiaplasty reduces the size of the labia minora – which is the skin either side of the vaginal opening.
Vaginoplasty is designed to reduce the size of the actual vagina usually to make it tighter.
What is a non-surgical vagina facelift?
If you don't want to go under the knife there is the option of a non-surgical vagina facelift.
This involves a variety of different treatments from laser surgery to fillers and radiofrequency treatment.
The idea is to induce collagen tightening down below, usually after the area has been weakened from childbirth, through age or hormone changes.
