Britney Spears ’ mum Lynne is reportedly "begging" for her daughter to patch up her strained relationship with estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
Lynne, 68, is said to be begging her superstar daughter, 41, to "make amends" with her little sister after their public feud hit the headlines.
The Toxic singer was in a conservatorship for 13 years, with her finally being freed from it in November 2021.
Conservatorships are common in the US, with them described as "a legal status in which a court appoints a person to manage the financial and personal affairs of a minor or incapacitated person".
For 13 years while she was in a conservatorship, Britney's dad Jamie had control over her life, finances and medical decisions, with the singer soon distancing herself from her family when she was freed.
Britney Spears 'selling $12million home' she bought with husband only months agoIn June 2021, prior to the conservatorship coming to an end, Britney spoke out publicly, with her saying: "I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years, and it’s enough. It’s been a long time since I’ve owned my money.
"I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them," she added.
Also prior to her conservatorship coming to an end, Britney's sister Jamie Lynn was slammed by fans for not publicly supporting the #FreeBritney movement.
And more recently back in January, Jamie Lynn broke down in tears when she spoke of how she suffered self-esteem issues due to being the younger sister of Britney, with the singer hitting back saying: "Are we gonna say it was hard being my sister ???? Hmmmmmmmmmmm …. really ???"
But now the sisters' mum wants her daughters to reunite, with her saying that she "will not rest" until they patch up their relationship.
An insider recently told MailOnline : "Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister Jamie Lynn now. They are both leaning towards a yes.
"Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual."
The insider went on to tell the paper that the pop singer "still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up" and is keen for her to go to her should they call a truce.
They added that the mum of the two girls is "figuring out now how to make this happen" and "is not going to rest until everything is perfect again".
