A WOMAN has revealed that she travelled abroad for eye surgery but it didn’t go quite to plan.
She explained that she had the cosmetic procedure done in Turkey and now can’t blink properly.
The beauty fan, who posts on TikTok under the username @dimplestilskin, took to the video sharing platform to show off her face after surgery.
She said: “When you have eye surgery in Turkey and now you can’t blink properly.”
In the clip, we saw the woman wearing a dressing gown as she filmed a close-up of her face.

Her eyes were visibly scarred and she filmed herself as she struggled to blink.
While the woman didn’t confirm what surgery she had, it appears she had a blepharoplasty, which is a cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids.
The aim is to improve hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags, but unfortunately for this woman, she is now struggling to close her eyes properly.
The woman’s clip was posted just two days ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 575.9k views.
It has 4,016 likes, 342 comments, 223 saves and 231 shares.
Social media users were left stunned at the woman’s clip and many took to the comments to address this.
Trolls lacked sympathy for the woman and questioned her decision to go to Turkey for surgery.
One person said: “How can people still go to Turkey for surgeries????”
Another added: “But now you can be on Botched!!!”
A third commented: “So sad you ruined it.”

Meanwhile, many other beauty fans were eager to reassure the woman.
One woman noted: “I couldn't close my right eyelid completely for one month. It's normal now. Trust the process.”
While another chimed in: “Totally normal. Always carry eye drops. You'll be fine once it all relaxes and swelling goes down.”
A third explained: “I recommend using a silky or gel eye mask when you sleep. You’ll eventually be able to close your eyes!”
However, the woman later explained that despite the "thousands of comments" telling her it's "botched surgery", she is "really happy" with the results.
