Viewers have been rooting for the 1000-lb Sisters in their quest for a healthier lifestyle since they rose to fame in the early 2020s with their TLC reality TV show.
Combined, they weighed just over 1,000 pounds and struggled to shed their weight, despite their family fearing for their lives and doctors urging the duo to put their health first.
Since then, Amy Slaton has shed eight stone, and her sister Tammy has dropped a whopping 180lbs.
However, despite their efforts, Tammy recently showed that her weight was still debilitating as she was seemingly unable to walk and using a wheelchair.
This is a stark reminder of how far the sisters still have to go on their health journey, despite making incredible efforts to transform their lives.

When season three aired in 2022, Amy had lost an extra 136 pounds and weighed 275 pounds in total. Looking back on her journey, she said: "I'm kind of nervous because I don't think I am where I'm supposed to be in my weight loss goal.
"I avoid the scale because then I'm focused on the number going down, and if I see it going up, it's going to make me depressed and wanna eat more. So, it's best not to look at it," Amy added.
On the diet front, Amy explained to US Weekly that she eats "small meals with high protein and [have] low carbs".
Meanwhile, Tammy had been spending time at a food rehabilitation centre to try and shed the pounds but was rushed to hospital when she stopped breathing at the facility.
She was put on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma.
Luckily, despite her body "shutting down", she was eventually well enough to return to rehab and continue with her weight loss.
"I'm feeling great! I'm thankful to be alive, and it's fun to be progressing as much as I am," Tammy told People.
When it comes to Tammy's nutrition, she made an effort to cut back from eight to 12 cans of soda a day to just one, as well as finding healthy alternatives, such as swapping cauliflower for macaroni in mac and cheese.
In 2021, Tammy discussed her daily routine in the facility on her YouTube channel.

Rather than the sugary sodas, this was all washed down with a coffee and a glass of orange juice.
At lunchtime, Tammy had a turkey BLT sandwich, potatoes, tiramisu, and a diet Pepsi. Then for dinner, it was time for grilled chicken strips and mashed potatoes.
Ensuring to cover all aspects of their wellness on their journey, Amy and Tammy have also been discussing their past, present and futures during therapy sessions, which is documented on their show 1000-lb Sisters.
