Antonio Brown has once again taken aim at Tom Brady, even though the former NFL quarterback previously tried his best to keep their relationship afloat.

The fall out between Brady and Brown is well documented, as the quarterback who vouched for the troubled wide receiver has received nothing but negativity since even before his retirement. After Brady pushed for Brown to be signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the receiver ended his career in dramatic circumstances by removing his equipment during a game against the New York Jets and walking off the field never to return.

Just like Brady always has, he backed Brown and promised to give him the help he needed. But another attack from Brown proves that he's not interested in rekindling a relationship with Brady after claiming he was "skinned" of money during his final season.

It's been 18 months since Brown played his final NFL game, and he's now claiming that it was Brady's fault he left the field in such devastating circumstances. After exiting the field during play former head coach Bruce Arians confirmed Brown was "no longer a Buc", and he was right as Brown never played again. However, although Brady tried to help, he's now been told he was the problem.

Brown has alleged that Brady called him a "narcissist" during the 2021 season, and claimed that the quarterback was trying to control him rather than help out. Brown complained about injuries before facing the Jets, and asked for some rest ahead of the postseason.

But according to Brown it was Brady that manipulated him by encouraging him to play with the promise of being passed to. But Brown felt "bad energy" from Brady and medicine practitioner Alex Guerrero, as he said on Tyreek Hill’s podcast, 'It Needed To Be Said ': "These boys like skinning me and they are supposed to be the guys that have my back.

"You know you don’t charge guys, that's your guys. Because we want you to be your best. You being your best helps me. So these guys are actually charging me to work with me, and it’s like the team actually paid this guy to like work with the players. I’m paying him on top of the payment [from the team] and he’s not even going out of his way."

Brown didn't receive the ball as promised and after worrying that his injury could get worse he checked out of the game. "[Brady] doesn't wanna throw me the ball, and you make me like I’m crazy," Brown added. So, I’m crazy? F*** all you mutherf****** I’m out of here.”

Whilst Brown has not held back on launching another public attack on Brady, Brady has publicly kept quiet on the situation. However, private texts he sent to Brown which the wide receiver then leaked on social media have shown Brady's handling of things behind the scenes.

Instead of turning on his former teammate, the messages showed Brady trying to be supportive and get the ex-Steelers star back on track. Unfortunately, his helping hand was not accepted and contact between the two has since been cut.

"You have a chip on your shoulder. And the mental/emotional ultimately defines the best of us," Brady’s message to Brown read. "I face it a lot. Why are people so critical and hating? Why is it fair? I believe it’s because I/we handle it although it’s hard. That resilience will be tested every day. Don’t give in. You can handle it. And when you aren’t feeling great, call me!

"We can do anything. And will always rise above our doubters and naysayers because we always have. It’s not right but we show a lot of people light and inspiration if we deal with whatever comes GRACEFULLY. They will all remember your grace under pressure and how you deal on the field is how you do it off field. With incredible precision and planning and discipline. And I’m going to help you in any way I can."

Brady's message seemingly did not appease Brown - and the former quarterback has now found himself back in the firing line as Brown sounds off on the abrupt end of his NFL career.
