Choosing where to sit at a concert can be a risky game to play but those who are waiting for Taylor Swift tickets to drop may be happy to just bag themselves a live performance place.

However, one fan of the 33-year-old US superstar is urging Swifties to have a think of exactly where they want to be if they are indeed one of the lucky ones to bag a ticket.

That's because her view at Swift's Eras Tour in the US was not exactly what she was hoping for when she splashed out the big bucks.

Lizzy attended Taylor's Detroit show at Ford Field, which had a crowd capacity of 60,000.

The pop superstar delivered a string of hits to the generously stocked crowd and Lizzy had a floor seat which she paid $289 for, about £230.

As soon as the show started and Taylor walked out onto the stage things turned into a bit of a nightmare for the fan.

Posting on her TikTok, Lizzy's five second clip, which has riked up more than 2 million views, shows exactly what went wrong.

While the video is short, it shows why a floor seat may not be the best option for those looking to bag tickets for the UK and European leg of The Eras Tour next year.

In the video Lizzy has the caption: "My seemingly amazing view for having only paid $289 for floor seats at the eras tour:...my view once the show started:"

Captioning the video, the Swiftie explains how the view didn't ruin the whole experience.

She said: "That was me on my tippy toes! It's ok tho guys I still had fun, and am very happy I got the chance to go, especially since so many people didn't."

More than 1,000 fans have commented on the video, with many commenting on how a floor seat is "risky."

One fan said: "Floor is risky. I have some regrets about passed shows. Unless you’re 6.5ft ya got nay chance."

While another said: "Will never buy floor again unless it is front row. What a nightmare for you."

And another fan added: "We all have that one concert that teaches us floor is not good unless your in the first couple of rows."

Lizzy explained that she didn't choose her tickets, Ticketmaster gave her the best option for her price range via verified fan sales.

However, some stadiums like Wembley in London, and Anfield in Liverpool will be set out differently than those in America.

If you want to be close to the action then a standing ticket could be the one for you - but these may be harder to get, and you also need to be wary of those in front of you.

Lower seating is likely to be the most popular option while, seating at the very back will be the cheapest.
