Prince Harry is reportedly in the midst of making his grand return to Africa for a new documentary with Netflix.
The 38 year old is said to be venturing into the project without his wife Meghan Markle, in the next phase of their £78 million deal with the world-famous streaming service.
This will likely be a welcomed relief for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were dealt a blow earlier this month when their $20million Spotify deal came to an end.
Following the devastating news, questions also arose regarding their overall deal with Netflix, which was said to be "hanging in the balance", with reports emerging that the platform could officially part ways with the royal couple.
However, things finally seem to be back on track, with Harry following in his mother Princess Diana's footsteps by heading back to Africa for a new solo project.
Meghan Markle 'to unleash her own memoirs' as Prince Harry's drops next weekThe reports came via Page Six, with a Netflix insider telling them: "Obviously, Harry has a lot of roots in Africa, and he feels at home there."
The publication also reports the exact nature of the documentary is not yet known, and Harry cannot move ahead with his plans due to the ongoing Hollywood writers' strike.
In his previous documentary with Netflix, Harry appeared alongside his wife, Meghan.
The series entitled Meghan & Harry was released late last year and chronicled the pair's humble beginnings, life in the spotlight and present-day family life.
News of Harry's new doc comes after Meghan and Harry parted ways from Spotify following their initial one-off episode together before Meghan launched her own series - Archetypes.
The 12-episode series saw Meghan chat with different celebrity pals, including tennis icon Serena Williams, legendary singer Mariah Carey, and socialite Paris Hilton.
Meanwhile, Meghan is set for her "own one-woman show" as she reportedly has "offers pouring in" from various brands, according to a royal expert.
The Duchess of Sussex is thought to have hired a new agent who will help her to build professional connections, which Daniela Elser claims will take her on a "divergent" career path to Prince Harry.
"With their podcast deal with Spotify having gone the way of the Dodo and Princess Margaret, it is looking increasingly like the duchess has traded their Sussex double act for her own one-woman show," Daniela said.
"Meghan – and only Meghan – has a new super agent, and reportedly 'offers have been pouring in' for Meghan – and only Meghan," she said.
