He would later twin it with a 1986 Mercedes W126 limo, which let him ride around London in style while remaining inconspicuous.

It came with all the latest technology for the time and Mercury loved it so much kept it until he died in 1991.
After his tragic death, the Rolls-Royce was handed down to his sister, who donated it to the Freddie Mercury Museum in Tanzania.
The singer's pride and joy was also featured in the opening of the We Will Rock You musical in the early 2000s.
Despite its fame, it was eventually sold for just £73,000 in 2013.
Mercury also owned an 80s Lincoln Town car for trips around New York City and he made the purchase early after his success boomed.
Another classic was the icon's convertible Range Rover - later owned by bandmate Roger Taylor.
Although not the conventional way to cruise along in this make of car, Mercury definitely made it work.
