LOVE Island fans are convinced that Catherine and Elom are already on the rocks after spotting a huge clue on last night's Aftersun.

The couple became the latest pair to be dumped, along with co-stars Leah and Montel last week.

Before getting the boot, Catherine and Elom clashed after he told her that he would get to know a bombshell if they were his type.

Last night, the duo joined host Maya Jama on Aftersun and opened up about their relationship since leaving the villa.

The host asked: "From the outside it looked like everything was going well between you and Catherine and then out of nowhere you're like 'if there's bombshells, I want to get to know them'.

"Where did that come from because there wasn't even a bombshell"

The audience responded with boos but Elom tried to explain and said: "On the outside world I'm the type of person when things are going well, I tend to sabotage things. I think too much into the future and I'm not in the moment."

While Catherine responded with the phrase 'side-eye', before Elom continued to justify himself.

He went on: "Being in the villa made me realise that I've got to enjoy the moment and being with Catherine made me enjoy the moment as well."

Catherine added: "We've literally been out for two days and even the first day wasn't a day because we got back in the evening."

But some fans were quick to spot the awkward "tension" the pair, saying their body language looked uncomfortable.

One person wrote: "Catherine and Elom… do we think they’re still together? Their body language was so off during Aftersun and miles different compared to Leah and Montel.

"Even when watching her rewind she would smile at all her scenes with Scott but had the straightest face when Elom’s scenes played.

"I'm surprised the empire crumbled that quickly."

Another posted: "I honestly don’t think so, and I think Maya knows this and tailored questions based on it.

"She asked Leah and Montel about their future and how they would handle the long distance between Essex and Manchester.

"Catherine and Elom would be handling distance between Ireland and Dubai if they stayed together - surely that’s a distance more worth Maya noting if they were actually together."

A third speculated: "I’d say the awkward conversation about being open to get to know a bombshell if one came in has something to do with it. Looks like there is tension there."

"The body language between the two couples were vastly different. I guess we won’t know until either Elom or Catherine says something," this person commented.

Another shared: "I noticed their body language was VASTLY different. He said he talked to her the other day on his Instagram Live. She doesn't even seem as smitten as she once was when she was in the villa. Maybe they've had a talk or reality (common sense) hit that he don't like you as much as you like him."

This viewer added: "I doubt it very much. I loved the fact that she openly said 'side-eye' to him after they brought up his wanting to get to know imaginary bombshells. It looks like she regrets buying into the grind and hustle talk."

Catherine’s exit comes as fans plotted to keep Scott in the villa after he was dumped by her during Casa Amor.

Viewers were shocked as she swiftly moved on from him in the other villa - and then accused it of being his fault when she returned.

Fans threatened to call Ofcom after the explosive Movie Night scenes aired, and things got very heated as Scott defended himself after they showed a clip of him saying he would turn his head in Casa Amor.

This prompted a fiery row between Scott and Catherine, while Leah also piped up to defend her friend.

Scott was hurt when Leah told him that none of the Casa Amor girls wanted him.

A lot of viewers responded saying they felt “uncomfortable” with the behaviour on the episode.
