AJ Bunker has revealed she required "urgent care" after falling ill on holiday in Sri Lanka.
The former Love Island star, whose full name is Andrea Jane Bunker, shared the scary update on her Instagram page and apologised for her lack of content in recent weeks.
Taking to her platform, the 30-year-old wrote: "Happy New Year you beauties. Sorry for being so quiet.
"I became really ill when I got back from Sri Lanka. To the point where I had to go to urgent care. Since then I've been focusing on getting 100% better."
She continued: "Whilst catching up with my family/friends, I'm finally feeling better & will be back to posting. Wishing you all the happiest new year & all the best for 2023! All my love."
Gemma Owen's mum makes cryptic 'fakery' dig after Love Island star's Luca splitA week previously, the reality TV star had shared a number of stunning snaps from her beachside holiday. In the first she looked amazing in a peach thing, showing off her big leg and side tattoo as she stood in front of a swing attached to two palm trees.
In the second she had climbed the swing and looked out to the sea, while the third had her back posing in front of the wooden planked swing.
She captioned the upload: "Swung into my 30’s in style. Can’t believe it’s my last day in Sri Lanka and nearly the end of my 30’s birthday trip with @charroserobyn. it’s been amazing Sri Lanka."
It was one of many uploads from her trip, with another showing how the star ventured to a turtle hatchery that works to conserve the natural population.
At the time, she shared a snap of her holding a baby turtle and she wrote: "The most magical day at the turtle hatchery.
"This turtle hatchery is one of many amazing conservation centres you can find in Sri Lanka. These conservation centres protect injured turtles and help baby turtle eggs hatch before releasing the newborns back to the sea.
"Without these conservation centres many turtle eggs wouldn’t hatch and even if they do many newborn turtles don’t make it on their own to the ocean."
