RANVIR Singh is one of ITV's best known daytime stars - but she favours a cosy London pad with her son than a rural mansion.

The Good Morning Britain star occasionally discusses her home life when anchoring the show, and every now and then posts pictures from inside her home on social media.

The footy mad star has posed with a Liverpool FC mug and shown off a 1968 European Cup tribute chess board, and she's also taken selfies in her kitchen, which is brightened up with fresh blooms.

On Thursday, Ranvir, 45, revealed the strict house rule in her London pad during a debate centred on British bulldogs.

The much-loved hounds are 54 times more likely to develop breathing difficulties than other breeds and are more than twice as likely to be obese.

This is because flat-faced dogs, such as French pugs and bulldogs, are known as brachycephalic breeds and are more likely to suffer serious health concerns than pets with a normal-length face.

Animal charity PETA claims owning the pets is irresponsible and is calling for a change.

A PETA representative debated the issue with a pet owner who brought his adorable dog Loki along to watch.

Host Ben Shephard, 48, quipped: "Loki is uninterested in the debate," to which Ranvir revealed her house rule.

She said: "Thank you to Loki who really is enjoying sitting on our sofa.

"Now Loki if you came to my house ... Loki is not, you can't have dogs on furniture in my house

"It's a big no no.

"Loki, no. No thank you."

The broadcaster previously lifted the lid on her toilet etiquette at home, revealing she rarely flushes.

She told co-host Ben : "I don't know what we were talking about last year but I said, in our house, if it's a wee we don't flush it during the day.

"If there's no people - if it's just us at home.

"No we don't."

She added: "And then it was interesting because a couple of my friends said, 'That's a bit weird but we have stopped doing that as well.'

"Because as you hear ... just flushing the loo.

"It is a sort of change of thinking, it's something we take for granted which we think is always going to be there."
