Police arrived at the scene shortly after midday, where they found the mangled remains of the Ferrari sitting on the dual-carriageway's central lane.

The van it crashed into was resting on its side a few metres in front.

According to eyewitnesses, the hazardous icy conditions caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

This then sent the supercar careering over the central reservation and colliding with the van, toppling it over in the process.

The road was blocked from more than an hour until 1.09pm, causing traffic chaos.

The driver was later scene walking around the scene in a daze. It is unknown how fast he was travelling.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said no injuries were reported and the road was reopened at 1.09pm.

The Ferrari SF90 can do 0-62mph in  2.5 seconds, 0-124mph in 6.7 and reach a top speed of 211mph.
