Piers Morgan has been slammed for making "misogynistic" and "unnecessarily cruel" remarks about Madonna following the announcement of her Celebration world tour.
The 57-year-old talk show host described the Queen of Pop as a "hot mess" and took aim at her announcement video.
Madonna, 64, revealed the news by taking to Instagram to play a game of truth or dare with her famous friends.
Comedian Amy Schumer challenged her to play "your greatest motherf***ing hits" on a world tour, a challenge which Madonna accepted.
Taking to Twitter, Piers wrote: "I think Madonna’s become the biggest cringe-making fiasco in world entertainment."

Piers then showed a series of X-rated snaps Madonna had shared on social media, including one of her lying underneath a bed with her bare bum on display.
The talk show host said the singer has hit "rock bottom" and suggested she should do her arena shows while sitting in a rocking chair.
People quickly flocked to Twitter to criticise Piers for his comments.
One person wrote: "She’s the icon. You’re the tragic one, obsessed with her."
Others questioned whether Piers would say the same about male performers, as one person tweeted: "What do you think then of Rod Stewart and Elton John still performing when they should have given up live performing years ago?
"Oh I forgot how misogynistic you are!!"
Another agreed: "Would you say that about Mick Jagger or Rod Stewart etc... Madonna has accomplished more in her lifetime than you can only dream of.
"She is an icon & the biggest selling female artist of all time, 335 million records sold worldwide. You're a nasty judgemental individual."
Someone else said: "‘I think this is unnecessarily cruel and I would like to think Madonna is a bigger person than to care for such drivel."

Madonna will be heading out on tour later this year and will perform in 35 cities.
Madonna: The Celebration Tour will kick off in Vancouver in Canada on July 15 with stops across North America before arriving in Europe where the pop star will perform in 11 cities throughout autumn.
