DANIEL STURRIDGE wowed viewers by incredibly singing Usher live on Sky Sports.
But fans joked Roy Keane will be handing in his notice as Super Sunday descended into a one-man talent show.
Sturridge has joined the Sky punditry team for the new Premier League campaign.
And as well as his expert analysis and fresh take on the game, he also delivered the goods with his superb vocals.
Towards the end of the live show from Stamford Bridge, presenter Dave Jones joked Sturridge had got away without having to do an initiation song.

Jones asked the former England forward what song he would have chosen but as he mulled over his answer, Micah Richards suggested Usher's Nice & Slow banger.
And instantaneously Sturridge burst into a staggering rendition of the 1997 tune.
The new pundit sang in a surprisingly soulful voice: "It's seven o'clock on the dot, I'm in my drop top, cruising the streets."
He even clicked along before tapping a laughing Richards and telling him: "You know the vibe."
Keane, unsurprisingly, remained motionless throughout the cameo sing-song before Sturridge moved over and asked: "Do you like that Roy?"

The no-nonsense Irishman replied deadpan: "Very nice," before breaking into a smile as the others burst into more laughter.
Jones admitted it took him completely by surprise and beamed: "I did not expect that. That was sensational. Wow. Roy will do his next week."
But the viewers watching it unfold at home were left in stitches and flooded Twitter with hilarious responses.
One said: "Daniel Sturridge is going to break Roy Keane."

A third added: "Decent little voice on him to be fair."
And a final user commented: "Keano is gonna quit his job bro."
Sturridge also prompted incredible reactions from Keane when he told Trent Alexander-Arnold: "Keep it funky with ya boy."
And in another brilliant moment live on air, Sturridge impersonated Keane's famous "big baby" rant on a bonkers post-match debrief.
On the pitch, Chelsea debutant Axel Disasi cancelled out Luis Diaz's opener to earn a 1-1 draw in Mauricio Pochettino's first competitive game in charge of the Blues.
