NESTLED in the heart of Spain’s party island is the all-American style Romeo’s Motel & Diner.
The Ibiza-based motel is heavily inspired by the Route 66 Love Motels, with neon lights, leopard print sofas and DJ booths.

There’s even a Las Vegas-inspired chapel, where those hopelessly in love can get married for real… or unofficially for fun.
Brought to Ibiza by Concept Hotels group, the pool area is decked out with vintage tiles that feature circular patterns on them alongside an open green lawn and a heart-shaped hot tub.
Mums are racing to snap up a super cheap 6-person tent at ArgosNext door, there’s Mandy’s, an American diner with leather sofas and a menu serving everything from £11 supreme nachos to £17 burgers.
There’s even a Wagyu hamburger for £18, which comes with cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce, red onion, secret sauce and country-style chips.
The £7.71 milkshakes, meanwhile, come in strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, banana, mango and red fruits flavours and come with a secret topping.
Those looking for an alcoholic drink can find a large array of options on the menu too, including £7 sangrias, £5 wines and £11 cocktails.
And if you’re feeling adventurous, Romeo’s also has a playroom for “getting up to no good”.
With a maximum capacity of 20 people and the need to book in advance, it features a pole dance bar, leopard print sofas, a fully stocked bar and DJ booth.
The hotel rooms, meanwhile, feel as though you’ve stepped back in time with vintage bathroom tiles, fringe lamps, rotary dial telephones and neon signs… Not to mention the mirror right above the bed.
Each room also has a Marshall speaker, SMEG fridge and red lighting to make it a seductive experience.
They also come with a balcony, air conditioning, free WiFi, a safe and a mini bar.
A one night stay in a double room for two people in September starts from £139, while a suite costs £161 upwards.

People on TripAdvisor rave about the motel with one person even saying it’s like “being in the U.S of A without leaving Europe”.
They continued: “A film buff’s dream come true complete with neon lights, classic American diner, heart shared pool and brightly coloured pool area.”
Another person shared: “They offer you a drink as soon as you enter and show you the Playroom which was incredible!”
While a third added: “The entire hotel was so cool & the Play Room is definitely worth visiting too!! The pool was perfect to lie by all day, the DJ was amazing, food & drinks great!”
Ibiza isn’t the place to spend the whole day in a motel though as the activities, beaches and nightlife are all booming.
The nearest beach, Faro Verde de Punta Xinxó, is just a six-minute drive away, it’s less crowded than the main beach of Playa S’Arenal and is perfect for both friends and families with young children.
Pedal boats and banana boats can be rented from £17 for a little adventure on the water.
And there’s even an efoil club, where thrill seekers can jump on an electric powered board to explore caves and coves.
There are restaurants and bars surrounding the area, including a number of shops for tourists looking for souvenirs.
Es Pueto restaurant also has a range of food and drinks starting from £3 and also has a lively nightlife.
You can also take a water taxi from San Antonio Bay to explore the other areas of Ibiza, which costs £2.50 upwards depending on the type of excursion you want to go on.
