FORMER Love Island star Chloe Burrows took to twitter to share her disbelief at a new rule change on the show.

Chloe Burrows, who previously dated Toby Aromolaran after meeting him on the show, is known for her blonde tresses and sun-kissed complexion.

But now the star is frustrated that she didn't get the chance to top up her fake tan during her spell in the villa.

She wrote on Twitter: "No wtf they’re allowed fake tan this year??????? Wow x."

Fans of the show shared their thoughts in the comment section, with one questioning: "I thought they were allowed to have it in season 5 too? xx"

A second stated: "Why would you need fake tan when your in the sun all day lol."

"Why weren’t you allowed to wear it???" asked a third.

Another chimed in: "It looks so cold there so they need it."

The show does still have strict guidelines that the contestants are expected to adhere too.

Islanders on the show aren't allowed to get drunk and are only provided with one alcoholic beverage per night.

Liana Isadora Van-Riel, who was on the 2016 show, told The Sun: "You're allowed one or two drinks a night, either wine or beer, no spirits."

The Love Island producers are really strict on practising safe sex.

Liana said: "There are loads of Love Island branded condoms."

The contestants are also offered STI tests and it is reported that many have taken up the offer.

Islanders aren't allowed to be fully naked in front of each other and there's a ban on masturbation, according to The Mirror.

Smoking on camera is also prohibited, with ITV producers cracking down ahead of season four in 2018 due to many complaints about the 2017 season.

It's also common knowledge that Islanders aren't allowed their mobile phone, with Liana explaining: "You're completely cut off.

"They give you these basic little phones where you can text each other but nobody really uses them, they're only really there for the whole 'I've got a text' aspect."

This year, the show also tightened up social media rules, with Islanders online profiles left dormant during their time on the show.
