STUART Broad had quite the cricket career before his retirement but it looks like he's trying out a different sport.

He's part of Soccer Aid 2024's line-up alongside plenty of other famous faces.

Who is Stuart Broad?

Stuart Broad was born on June 24, 1986.

He is a former English cricketer who played Test cricket for the England team and was One Day and Twenty20 International captain.

His net worth is estimated to be around £53.7million ($69million).

The fast bowler has made his money from his cricket career, as well as from a pub called Tap & Run, which is located near Nottingham, and sponsorship deals.

Stuart has joined with brands such as Adidas, Red Bull, Hardys, Simon and Schuster, The Belfry, and Investec.

The Nottinghamshire player's salary was reported to be around £700,000 ($824,992) per year from his England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) annual contract.

It also included bonuses relating to performance.

When did Stuart Broad retire from cricket?

Stuart announced he was retiring from his cricket career in 2023 after a 17 year career.

He revealed the news to Sky Sports on the Oval turf before the final Test of the summer.

He said: "It's been a wonderful ride and a huge privilege to wear the Nottinghamshire and England badge as much as I have.

"I've been thinking about it for the last few weeks but England vs Australia has always been the pinnacle for me.

"I've loved the battles I've had with Australia. I've got a love affair with Ashes cricket and I think I wanted my last bat and bowl to be in Ashes cricket."

He added: "I'm loving cricket as much as I ever have.

"It's been such a wonderful series to be a part of and I've always wanted to finish it at the top."

Who is Stuart Broad's fiancée Mollie King?

Mollie King is a singer and model from Wandsworth in London.

She was born on June 4, 1987.

In 2007 Mollie auditioned as part of the girl band, Fallen Angelz, for X Factor, however they did not progress past the Bootcamp round.

Later that year, Mollie joined the girl band, The Saturdays, as the fifth member alongside Una Healy, Vanessa White, Rochelle Humes, and Frankie Bridge.

The Saturdays toured with Girls Aloud and released four albums and sold over five million copies.

In 2012 they finally achieved the No1 spot in the UK singles charts with their hit What About Us.

In 2014 the band took a permanent hiatus.

Two years later, Mollie released her debut solo single, Back To You, and in 2017 she was a contestant on BBC series Strictly Come Dancing.

She joined BBC Radio 1 as a presenter and since September 2022 Mollie has her own show Future Pop.

Mollie and cricketer Stuart got engaged on January 1, 2023, after dating on and off since 2012.

The couple reportedly delayed their wedding due to Covid fears, with Mollie announcing in June 2022 that she was expecting her first child.

In November 2022, Mollie revealed that she had given birth to a baby girl, who the couple named Annabella.

What position will Stuart Broad play in Soccer Aid 2024?

It has not yet been announced which specific position Stuart will be playing in Soccer Aid.

However he's expected to represent the England team alongside the likes of Paddy McGuinness and Sam Thompson.

Proceeds from the match will go to Unicef.

How to watch Soccer Aid 2024

You can tune in to watch Soccer Aid 2024 on Sunday, June 9 at Stamford Bridge.

The match will be available to watch for free on ITV and STV.

Kick off time has not yet been announced but previous years have started at 7.30pm.

England will be hoping to win, after losing to World XI for the last five years.
