Her sister read out a question to the TV personality, asking: "Katie would you ever bring out another fiction book - Angel was my favourite."
Whilst Katie admitted she loved writing books and has more plans for them in the future, she revealed the death of her ghostwriter and friend Rebecca Farnworth had put a halt on proceedings as well as the events of her "turbulent life".
Katie said: "There will be more books, 100%, but unfortunately, Rebecca, who I used to do all my novels with, she died.
"So that set me back doing the books because I felt like I was being a traitor doing it with someone else."
Her sister chimed in to add: "Yeah, it was sad."
Rebecca worked closely alongside the star to curate her books and provide a helping hand.
The 49 year old died after a battle with cancer in 2014 and had spent the latter part of her career working on all 14 of Katie's books after a career in journalism.
Katie's first book, Being Jordan, released alongside Rebecca in 2005 sold over a million copies with her literary agent, Maggie Hanbury, saying: "The book broke a mould, creating a new genre that went on to spawn countless other celebrity memoirs."

The 45-year-old’s eldest child, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, is partially blind and on the autistic spectrum, is prone to causing damage when he gets upset.
Katie explained: “We done our weekend but on the way back Harvey decides that his ear keeps popping. And then what happens?
“The kids are all in the back and he decides he’s going to headbutt the window of the car, popped out the window. We are on the motorway. Glass shattered everywhere.
“The kids' faces look like a murder scene. I am like’ 'stay calm you are fine’, I get into my mode of ‘all stay calm’ and I am going to Carl ‘we need to pull over’."
