Spoon bender Uri Geller has predicted when aliens land on earth and make themselves known in the "biggest revelation in history".

This comes after a government whistleblower revealed to the US Congress's House oversight committee that "non-human" remains had been at UFO crash sites.

With interest in UFOs and extraterrestrials never being higher, Mr Geller has spoken out about his own apparent expertise on the matter which stretches back over 50 years. He predicts in the coming decades aliens will publicly reveal themselves by landing somewhere for the whole world to see.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Mr Geller said: "I think in the coming 10 to 20 years there will be a landing. It won’t be an invasion. Wherever they come from - I think maybe two or three species out there - if they wanted to destroy us they could."

He continued: "There will be a Steven Spielberg type landing. I hope they land somewhere like the White House lawn or the Eiffel Tower. It will be the biggest revelation in history - religiously, archaeologically, everything. It will be like finding the Arc of the Covenant."

Last month speaking in front of a Congressional hearing, former intelligence official David Grusch has claimed the US has possession of “intact and partially intact” alien vehicles, and today spoke of "non-human" biological proof recovered from crash sites. For many this was proof the government were hiding evidence of aliens.

Discussing what Grusch revealed, Mr Geller said: "The revelations (in Congress) are showing aliens are getting closer to telling the human race not to be afraid of them. Maybe some of the things I’m telling sound like something out of a sci-fi film. But there’s no doubt they’re watching us. They’re concerned we might press the red buttons and nuclear bombs will fly. They won’t want our planet destroyed."

Despite speaking matter-of-factly about the existence of aliens, Mr Geller isn't worried about them formally arriving. Describing their technology as "beyond anything we can imagine," he said: "If they didn't have good intentions we would be wiped away. They have tech we don’t have. I feel they come in peace."

Mr Geller believes the government could be hiding years of contact with extraterrestrials from the public so they can develop weapons from alien tech to be used in the military.

He also expressed concern about further whistleblowers. He said: "I’m sure there will be more whistleblowers. But some are afraid for their lives. I believe there will be a massive disinformation campaign around this. There will be loads of stories undermining the whistleblowers. Just see. You will see loads of misinformation emanating from the dark dungeons of the agencies that do this."

This was something echoed by Mr Grusch in the hearing. He said, “I do have knowledge of active planned reprisal activity against myself and other colleagues."

“There were certain colleagues of mine that were brutally administratively attacked. It actually makes me very upset as a leader to see that happen to other co-workers and actually superiors of mine in the last three years,” he added.

Mr Geller told Mirror he was first shown evidence of extraterrestrials by former-Nazi scientist Wernher von Braun. He claims he was taken into a NASA facility where they had big walk-in fridges filled with dead aliens. Geller met von Braum through mutual friend and astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who was the sixth person to walk on the moon.
