THE annual Sidemen Charity Match is back this weekend in what's expected to be another massive event.

The match was a huge success last year, and this year things are even bigger, with the game taking place in front of 60,000 fans at West Ham's London Stadium.

Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg took charge of the game in 2022, and he was pretty busy for the entire 90 minutes.

But Clattenburg kept his cool throughout and was involved in a few funny moments, including one which involved IShowSpeed.

Who will referee the Sidemen Charity Match?

Event organisers were obviously happy with Clattenburg's performance, as the 48-year-old has been invited back.

Clattenburg retired from refereeing in the Premier League in 2017 after a 13-year career in the top flight.

He then went on to referee to become the head of refereeing for the Saudi Arabian Football Federation.

And in 2019, Clattenburg once again become a referee in China for the Chinese FA.

But his funniest moments arguably came in last year's Sidemen match, where he booked IShowSpeed for removing his shirt after a goal.

The charismatic YouTuber responded by whipping Clattenburg with his shirt after chasing him down.

This weekend's clash will get underway from 3pm BST on Saturday, September 9.

You can stream all of the action for free on the Sidemen's YouTube channel.
