Danniella Westbrook has posted a bitter message on social media days after revealing her daughter has cut her out of her life.
The former EastEnders actress is mum to son Kai, 26, who she shares with former boyfriend Robert Fernandez and daughter Jodie, whose dad is Danniella’s ex-husband, millionaire businessman Kevin Jenkins. As Jodie turned 22 this week, Daniella took to Instagram to wish her a happy birthday, writing: “Happy 22nd birthday to my beautiful Jodie b Jenkins xxx.” But just five days ago the ex-soap star revealed there was a rift between them.
Sharing a video montage featuring pics of the pair in happier times, Danniella told fans: “With all my heart, I miss my daughter. I miss so many things we shared. But after the beautiful birthday I arranged for her 21st last year. Within a month, I was once again with zero explanation cut out of her life.” The 49-year-old said Jodie’s actions had “broken my heart” and added: “But I just hope she knows how proud I am to be her mother x And I love her always X.” Yet in a cryptic post in her Instagram stories this weekend, Danniella appeared to hit out.
After sharing videos from her time at Milton Keynes Pride, Danniella posted a gif of Marilyn Monroe waving from a window with the words “when someone blocks me and expects me to care” followed by a rolling eyes emoji.

Further down there was an unprintable expletive as it said: “Bye c***.” Danniella and Jodie haven’t had the best relationship over the years, with reports of a feud between them as Danniella turned back to drugs following a high profile cocaine addiction, which was so bad her septum fell out.

Jodie grew up in America and lived with her dad Kevin. Last year, other and daughter seemed to have patched things up as they looked forward to a new chapter in their lives. Danniella had thanked her daughter for forgiving her following years of drug abuse that is said to have caused the breakdown of her marriage to Kevin, a former addict himself, after she passed out at 3pm on Christmas Day after a cocaine binge in 2014.

She makes my heart whole.”
The post came after fans said how much Jodie looks like ex-EastEnders star Danniella, who shot to fame in the Nineties as blonde Sam Mitchell in the BBC soap. Opening up about her mum’s recovery, Jodie said her mum had been “doing great”. But it seems the pair’s relationship has turned sour again after Danniella’s post that Jodie has now cut all ties. This was despite Danniella crediting her kids with saving her life as she admitted having kids gave her the motivation to kick her cocaine a day habit, which at its worst saw her snort 11 bags a day.
