Former Love Island contestant Montana Brown has given an update from hospital after enduring surgery just weeks after giving brith to her son, Jude.
The 28-year-old reality star was a contestant on season three of Love Island back in 2017 - but she has had greater success on the love front away from the villa. The star became engaged to rugby player-turned-real estate executive Mark O’Connor in April this year and they became parents together in June.
Just three months after giving birth, Montana is back in a hospital and undergoing surgery - while her baby son has been keeping her company before she goes under the knife. Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Montana shared a short video of herself in a hospital as she prepared to go into surgery - while Jude was playing on her tummy.
The reality star could be seen laying on a hospital bed while medical equipment could be seen positioned around her. Montana looked fresh faced and was wearing a hospital gown while waiting for medical professionals to tend to her. Jude’s legs could also be seen in the shot.
The newborn was moving around animatedly, while his toes, feet and lower half of his legs were all that could be seen on the screen. He was kicking rhythmically while Montana looked at the camera with a docile expression.

Thank you Jude.” While she did not specify exactly why she was in hospital or what kind of surgery she was waiting to experience.
Back in July, Montana broke down in tears when she told fans and social media followers that her baby son had undergone a medical procedure to correct a lip and tongue tie. The medical condition can make it difficult for babies to latch on to feed, and Montana explained she had been enduring breastfeeding issues.
She told her Instagram followers: "We had an appointment with a lactation consultant yesterday. Jude is tongue-tied and I just wasn't expecting her to tell me that he's tongue-tied. I've had a few issues with breastfeeding. Just with the fact it's been quite painful since the start and obviously this explains it that he's got a tongue-tie and he's also got a lip tie as well, which I didn't notice so it's stopped him from properly latching.
“Our little man is tongue tied and honestly feel so sad for him that he has to get a little laser to release it. I’m just so glad we found out this early on but kind of kicking myself I didn’t see her [the lactation expert] sooner as our consultant was just such a wealth of knowledge. I wish I knew earlier.”
