Jurgen Klopp is sweating on the fitness of at least one member of his Liverpool squad as the Reds prepare to return to Premier League action.

The Merseyside club are coming off three straight league victories as they travel to Wolves on Saturday, but will be without the suspended Virgil van Dijk. There are also concerns over Trent Alexander-Arnold, who withdrew from England's squad, and Darwin Nunez.

New signing Ryan Gravenberch could be involved at Molineux after joining on deadline day, but Klopp faces a few uncertainties. Here are the latest news lines from around Anfield with Liverpool's return just days away.

Salah 'mocked' by Man Utd man

Manchester United youngster Hannibal appeared to mock Mohamed Salah when his Tunisia team beat Salah's Egypt in a friendly. Two goals in the opening 10 minutes set Jalel Kadri's team on their way, and they eventually won 3-1.

The third goal only arrived in second-half stoppage time, prompting wild celebrations. Amidst the joy, Hannibal appeared to mimic Salah's trademark yoga celebrations while joining his Tunisia team-mates.

Nunez injury scare

Liverpool have been given reasons to be fearful over the fitness of Darwin Nunez after comments from Uruguay boss Marcelo Bielsa. The striker played in both of his country's World Cup qualifiers during the international break, but only managed 45 minutes in the defeat against Ecuador.

“It seemed convenient to me to substitute him because he couldn’t keep up with the game when we had to press,” Bielsa said. The former Leeds boss made reference to "muscular difficulties" for the 24-year-old.

Nunez has yet to complete a full 90 minutes this season. He came off the bench in Liverpool's first three games of the season, and played 65 minutes after starting the victory over Aston Villa.

Salah transfer decision 'enormous'

Jurgen Klopp has been told the decision to keep hold of Mohamed Salah can be "enormous" for Liverpool's season. The Reds rebuffed interest from Al-Ittihad for the Egypt star, and pundit Chris Sutton has laid bare the importance of the call.

“I think this is an enormous season for Liverpool, holding onto [Mohamed] Salah," Sutton told The Monday Night Club "There was all the talk about him going to Saudi [Arabia], which was absolutely massive.

"I’m really pleased he’s stayed from Liverpool’s perspective because I do think they are the team to challenge. They’re off to an absolute flyer."
