WETHERSPOONS has axed plans to open another new pub leaving local residents devastated.
The chain has cancelled plans for a new pub in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

"The company will no longer be developing it into a pub," they added.
"This is a commercial decision undertaken by the company."

Pub-goers have been left devastated at the decision to not open the branch in Beaconsfield.
One said: "Such a shame not to have an affordable pub."
A second said: "Real pity as it would have given Beaconsfield a cheaper option for people to socialise without breaking the bank."
One person simply said: "Gutted."
It comes after Wetherspoons axed plans to open half a dozen new pubs in a blow for drinkers.
It had bought several sites with a view to opening new branches.
However, The Sun exclusively revealed bosses had ditched the plans with the sites put up for sale.

- Former Tusk nightclub and Waverley Tea Rooms, Moss-Side Road, Glasgow, G41 3TN
- Sant'Angelo, High Street, Wetherby, LS22 6LT
- Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace, London, SE19 2AA
The Grape and Grain was formerly a Wetherspoons pub before closing six years ago.

It comes after two Wetherspoons pubs closed for good last weekend.
The chain currently runs over 820 pubs in the UK, warning last September 32 were being put up for sale.
But in good news, Wetherspoons has also opened three new pubs over the past 12 months.
