ECSTATIC Gardeners' World fans were left demanding a presenter shake-up on the show as a rising star made his very first appearance.

Viewers were left thrilled as the BBC show featured an appearance from up and coming TV gardening star, Ashley Edwards.

The head gardener for Horatio's Gardens in London set pulses racing as he made his presenting debut on the programme with many show viewers left swooning over the hunky star.

Ashley opened up on his love for gardening on the show as well as giving fans an insight into his own horticultural journey.

Sharing the news of his appearance on Instagram, Ashley, who uses the social media handle 'Plants for Wellbeing', said: "I can’t wait for you to see it. You’ll learn about my horticultural journey and why gardening makes me feel so good.

"I’ll also be sharing top tips and fab planting combos from @horatiosgarden London."

He then added: "Thanks to the #gardenersworld team for making me feel so comfortable!"

Speaking on the show, he said: "I absolutely love being a gardener.

"I mean, for me, gardening is something you can never get tired of.

"You're always learning."

Viewers were left in awe at his natural ability on camera as they demanded the BBC sign him up to co-host the show full time alongside regulars Monty Don and Adam Frost.

Writing online, one impressed fan said: "This lad Ashley will be a presenter on this in the next three years. Class act."

Another penned: "Ashley, what a gentle soul he is. Wonderful guy doing an important, neccesary job."

A third asked of the broadcaster: "More of Ashley please."

As a fourth wrote: "Loved hearing about Ashley's childhood and all his gardening tips."

The rising star also saw his Instagram littered with heart eye emoji's after viewers were left swooning over the plant expert.
