Ekin-Su Culculoglu is the latest celebrity to feel the wrath of the nation’s prudes when she performed in this nude leotard on Dancing On Ice at the weekend, sparking 112 complaints to the broadcast regulator.
But the Love Island winner is not the worst ‘offender’, with big-name stars including BGT’s Amanda Holden and singers Rita Ora and Jennifer Lopez also criticised for their look.

J-Lo: 100 complaints
THE American singer has never been one to shy away from a skimpy costume, but one viewer called her 2013 BGT appearance “pornographic”.
Wearing a revealing, black high-cut body, knee-high boots and fur shawl, J-Lo even dropped to her knees and parted her legs provocatively.
One viewer tweeted: “I have seen a little too much of Jennifer Lopez – meant to be a family show?”
J-Lo later said: “I wore the same outfit on the Billboard Awards (in the US) and it didn’t cause any controversy.”
Christina & Rihanna: 4,250 complaints
WHEN you book both Christina Aguilera and Rihanna to perform on a family show, you are asking for double trouble.
They appeared on The X Factor final in 2010, leaving thousands of viewers outraged by their skimpy outfits and raunchy routines.
While Rihanna sang What’s My Name in a colourful two-piece, Christina – dressed in a low-cut mini dress – belted out two songs from the movie Burlesque with suitably suggestive dance moves.
Complaints rolled in to Ofcom and ITV, with viewers saying the choreography was inappropriate for a pre-watershed show.
The regulator later set out strict guidelines for shows aired before 9pm.
Scherzy: 419 complaints
THE Pussycat Dolls reunited on The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019, but it was frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger’s barely-there catsuit that made headlines.

The burlesque troupe turned girlband are famed for their raunchy routines and skimpy outfits, but Nicole’s sheer all-in-one had 419 viewers clutching their pearls and complaining to Ofcom.
The Buttons singer hit back: “We’re not trying to upset anybody. Our true fans know our intention.
“Our real fans know we’re empowering and we come from a place of strength as singers and dancers.”
Holly: 52 complaints
PRESENTER Holly Willoughby thought she would make a statement in this low-cut Dany Atrache gown for the Dancing On Ice season premiere in 2021.
But the frock got a frosty reception, with complaints that it was too “revealing” and flashed her boobs.
Amanda: 663 complaints
DEFIANT Amanda Holden still refuses to cover up after the £11,240 Julien Macdonald dress she wore on BGT in 2017 drew 663 complaints.
The judge, who was criticised in 2020 for another low-cut outfit, said: “It’s all everyone seems to talk about.”
Rita: 428 complaints
THE One Show was hit with hundreds of complaints after Rita Ora’s appearance in 2015.
Promoting a series of The Voice where she was once a judge, the pop star let it all hang out in a white blazer.
The BBC said: “If we had been consulted we would have requested she wore something more suitable for 7pm.”
Danny & Dermot: 0 complaints
IT may come as no surprise that when men reveal a little too much, viewers have few complaints.
Fans went wild on social media after Danny Dyer – who played Mick Carter – wore these clingy chinos in an episode of EastEnders in 2016.
In the scene, Sharon Mitchell quipped: “So the rumours are true.”
And when Dermot O’Leary introduced The X Factor’s bootcamp challenges in 2016 in tight beige trousers, one viewer tweeted: “What’s Dermot hiding?”
