THE daughter of one of Scotland’s richest men has been targeted with vile graffiti as part of a gangland feud.

Thugs left vulgar sexual insults trashing Jennifer McLeish, 36, on walls in central Bothwell, Lanarkshire, where she lives.

It comes after we told earlier this month how maniacs drove a motor to her front gate before setting it ablaze and fleeing.

It is understood to be linked to a fall-out between Jennifer’s partner Brian McIlear and a Glasgow hood.

Another slur in blue spraypaint said: “Brian Macalear is a s****bag”.

The messages were written near a primary school, with parents and kids having to walk past them on Wednesday.

In nearby Hamilton, a wall in the David Lloyd gym car park was also daubed with personal insults aimed at Jennifer, whose dad is railway maintenance tycoon Alan McLeish, 62.

One message read: “Jen Pay Brians Bills.”

A source told The Scottish Sun: “This all started with Brian cheating on the gangster’s daughter with Jen and them now being together as a couple.

“Now his ex’s family reckon Brian is due them cash. They think Jen will stump up as her dad’s a multi-millionaire.

“The feeling on the street is that this is only going to end with someone getting seriously hurt if not worse.”

We told how firefighters raced to Jennifer’s home after a car was torched at her gates.

Police gathered evidence and took photos of the crime scene.

Officers are seeking the owner of the car, which  had two different number plates.

The fire spread to the fence of Jennifer’s neighbour,  former Celtic star Leigh Griffiths, 32.

The attack is understood to have nothing to do with him.

The former Scotland ace has put his house on the market and had slashed £25,000 off the asking price before the incident.

In 2020, Jennifer’s Range Rover was petrol-bombed, which also set fire to the roof of her £500,000 home.

Her beauty salon in Dennistoun, Glasgow, was ramraided weeks later.

It is understood a gangland hood needed 250 stitches after being slashed by Brian in a city nightspot last year.

Mr McLeish  sold QTS — based in Strathaven, Lanarkshire — for £80million in 2018 after starting the business with the help of a £300 loan from his mum Anne.

Jennifer’s stepmum Phyllis, who split from Alan in 2019,  is on the board at Kilmarnock FC.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 8.45am on Wednesday, 18 January, officers received a report of damage to a number of premises in the Main Street area of Bothwell.

"Enquiries continue.”
