MARRIED At First Sight star Ella Morgan Clark found herself overcome with emotion as she bravely told her co-stars she is transgender.
Ella, 29, decided to open up to her fellow newlyweds at the first dinner party of the series on Wednesday night.
Reading a speech she had prepared, Ella broke down in tears as she told them her story.
The blonde bride, who has married former Geordie Shore star Nathanial Valentino, explained she has always known she is a girl, despite being born a boy.
As the first transgender person to star in MAFS UK, Ella said: "I just wanted to share something with you that is really personal to me.

"For me to be in this experience and be open, honest and the real authentic me, I wanted to share this and explain what's made me who I am today.
"This has to be one of the hardest and scariest things that I've ever done.
"When I was born, I appeared very different to how I do today. My mum gave birth to four boys; three brothers and then me.
"My mum asked me when I was younger if I was gay and I said, 'No, mum. I am a woman'.
"She said, 'You wanna be a girl?' I said, 'No, mum, I am a girl'.
As her co-stars looked on, Ella continued: "I've never questioned who I am, I've always known I'm Ella inside.
"We all have struggles in life, though most people don't have to question their identity or their gender.
"I don't expect you guys to understand or get me, but all I ask is that you respect me and treat me as the person I am."
Ella concluded: "Now my outside matches my inside, I stand in front of you all as an openly transgender woman but, more importantly, I stand here as Ella and all I want to do is be seen and treated as the girl that am finally."
Ella's tears flowed as the emotional gang applauded her.

Nathanial, meanwhile, scooped her up in his arms and congratulated her for her empowering speech.
