Speaking to the The Mirror he said: "We had a great life together. People thought she was the ideal vicar's wife, and she was.
"Then I got home from work one day and all of a sudden everything changed. She announced she was leaving to live with Robson Green.
"She said they got talking in the gym and she fell in love. She left immediately."
When did Robson Green meet Zoila?
The pair first started dating in April 2016 after she met him at a gym in the suburbs of Newcastle.
But the couple were first snapped together on the set of ITV's Grantchester in August 2018.
They now live together at his home in Northumberland.
However, it doesn't look like they will be getting married anytime soon.
After praising Zoila in an interview, calling her "super-healthy" with "the kindest heart", he shut down wedding rumours.
