Ryan Garcia took aim at YouTube star KSI and sent him a private message calling for a fight between the pair after he mocked his upcoming comeback fight.
Garcia is one of boxing's most promising rising stars, and recently headlined the year's highest-selling pay-per-view event against Gervonta Davis, where he suffered his first loss. However, his comeback fight won't be on PPV when he faces Oscar Duarte, which led KSI to take a shot at his drawing ability on Twitter.
There has been needle between the pair given Garcia's friendship with KSI's nemesis Jake Paul, and the exchange on social media followed a DAZN segment where the Brit claimed he could take the boxer the distance. And he decided to take to Instagram to send a DM to the YouTuber, who faces his first test against a legitimate boxer in Tommy Fury next week.
"If you want to fight let me know or just stop speaking my name!" Garcia wrote in a private message, which he then shared to social media. He captioned the screenshot "KSI now stop talking." It was in response to a tweet from the Brit who joked that the fight wasn't on PPV.
Garcia also replied to the initial tweet, noting that he wanted to keep his lesser bouts as cheap as possible writing "You have to be smart, why would I put this on PPV that’s robbing the fans?" KSI clapped back by replying: "After your last performance, seeing you give up like that, you already robbed your fans loool. It makes sense that you’re not trying to put this on PPV."

Asked in a segment for DAZN with Anthony Joshua if he could go the distance with Garcia, a 23-1 professional who has stopped Olympic gold medalists, KSI answered: "It'd be a good fight but obviously I'm quite heavy, but he's going to think he would destroy me. I'm awkward, what? Are we setting this one up as well? S*** man."
Garcia has previously claimed that the Brit is "too sensitive", and called him a baby for his stance on the boxer and his friendship with Jake Paul. During an episode of Impaulsive, he told Jake's older brother Logan: "I'm not going to fight him but he has been coming at me lately. That is crazy when I just have an honest opinion. He takes things too personal and he just sounds like a big baby."
