COMEDIAN Katherine Ryan has revealed her strict rules for her 14-year-old daughter and her friends at their home.
Katherine, 40, has revealed she has sent parents a waiver form with rules they must sign for their children to attend her teen daughter's Halloween party - and she's hired a security firm to do bag and body searches.
The star initially made her teen daughter Violet, who goes to a private school, make a presentation to her putting the case for how her friends would respect their home at a party.
Having then agreed to allow it, Ryan has insisted the parents of all the children attending must sign her 'good behaviour' form even though she says she herself will be in the house.
Katherine has a ninth-month-old daughter and a two-year-old son with Bobby Kootstra, who she had a civil partnership ceremony, plus Violet from a past relationship.

She said she felt she had to compile her party document because of modern age "liabilities" and to protect her property and the children.
The popular comedian explained: "I am allowing the Halloween party. It's not on actual Halloween, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, basically its bulls***, she just wants to have a party so it's a tenuous link.
"I don't know how you navigate having teenagers and keeping them safe and keeping them respectful, and keeping your property from being vandalised.
"But basically I gave Violet a number of children she was allowed to invite. She sent these invites out to more children than that.
"I also prepared a document. I just think in this day and age, with liabilities and having all these kids in my house, I want to send a really clear message to them, when they're 14, what the expectations are in my house.
"And also, I think it's a good message to the parents to know that if I expect this form signed by a parent with the parent's phone number, then they know that I'm not the kind of mum that allows drinking or vaping or anything else.
"Those parents are going to go 'oh, if this mum's making me sign this, I feel safe sending my kid there'."
She explained that when she previously tried to find a venue for Violet's 13th birthday, all but one said they would host a party until she revealed the age group coming - after which they rejected her fearing the children would "trash" the place.
Reading the form she's sent for Violet's forthcoming Halloween party, Katherine said it stated: "Permission waiver. Hello, as we enter the teenage party years, I'm starting to understand why it was so difficult to find a venue that would host Violet's last birthday party.

"The children are very welcome in our home/garden/pool and we do want them to enjoy themselves and be able to gather in a safe environment for a party.
"However....my husband and I feel that it's necessary to collect signed permission waivers from all parents of children attending any party in our home.
"This acknowledges that we will not tolerate any illegal behaviour. At 14 and 15 years old, illegal behaviour includes drinking alcohol, vaping, any sexual activity, assault, vandalism.
"Anyone found to be participating in any illegal behaviour will be asked to leave and parents called.
"By signing this waiver you acknowledge responsibility for your child in our home and further acknowledge that you have spoken to them about having bag searches and guest list checks at the door.
"We have hired a private security firm to help oversee this party for peace of mind.
"If any time your child feels unsafe please encourage them to find me in the house, or approach someone from the security team.
"We have a zip line and a small swimming pool that the children should use only with caution.
"This document feels like a lot, but I do think it's best to be clear from the beginning about my expectations for this party and for all "if any, let's see how it goes" future parties.
"Then I have name of child, name of parent, parent phone, and signature.
"And I have had returned so many electronic signatures. I do hope these are from parents and not children.
"I'm dealing with the two babies in the house. So I'm not going to be walking around the garden myself.
"So I have hired a security firm - one that I have dealt with in film and television before - one that I feel very safe having to (do) bag checks, physical searches.
"I just hope to god that this party goes well. I'm just so nervous about it."
It comes after Katherine praised the British Transport Police after her teenage daughter Violet was sexually harassed on the tube.
The star revealed how her eldest had been on the London Underground with her 16-year-old cousin Lily when she was sexually harassed by "grown men".
Speaking on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast last month, Katherine said: "There was a man in the middle of the day filming them on the underground. Just a man on his own who got his phone out and starts filming these girls sat opposite him."
Later, Violet had shown her mum the pictures and footage she had taken of the man filming her, but Katherine added: "There's no mistaking Violet's age.
"She's 14, she has braces on her teeth. Anyone looking at these girls, no one is mistaking them for being adult women.
"Maybe someone might hope that Lily's 18, nevertheless, you're a sick freak and you shouldn't be chatting to teenage girls the way you are. I need it to stop."
Following her comments, the British Transport Police reached out to Katherine to offer support, leaving the star full of praise for them.
She told Metro.co.uk: "They take this very seriously. They were hot on it."
