The room is just about spacious enough to fit a small dining table with a couple of monitors, an office chair with destroyed cushioning, a modest shelving unit and a fan.

Exposed brick walls add an improvised look and feel to the "gaming studio".

On Tuesday, the Belgium native reportedly beat out a field of 6,023 entries and went heads-up against Yagen Li from China in the final round.

Both players were guaranteed more than £1.6 million, with a difference of more than £616,188 between first and second place.

Bert, who goes by @girafganger7 on Twitch, celebrated the multi million-pound win with his 23,100 followers.

Messages of support flooded in for the popular streamer, who tried to rip his shirt off in front of his online audience.

"This man is the real goat of poker, @GGPoker just offer him as sponsorship and create his avatar and his emoji he deserves it," one user wrote.

"The most humble guy I ever saw on Twitch.

"I wish you all the best @Girafganger7."

A lucky punter won £1million at a casino after playing on four roulette tables at the same time.

The Swiss player stunned everyone when he first won £31,400 with a £900 bid on number 9 last Wednesday evening.

Just seconds later he placed all of his winnings on another number and won an astonishing £261,000 at the Grand Casino in the town of Baden, Switzerland.

Grand Casino officials said: "From then on, the table games area transformed into a real festival.

"The guests present were happy with the player after every win and the electric atmosphere seemed to fuel the winning streak.

"This continued when the player started playing on all four roulette tables at the same time."

The lucky man, whose identity was not disclosed, reportedly took home a total of around £1 million several hours later.
