A 77-year-old man has been arrested after smuggling Viagra into a retirement care home with a plan to sell it to randy residents.

Federal authorities have arrested Reginald Odell Kincer for allegedly buying more than $1,800 in erectile dysfunction drugs without a prescription and intending to sell them in the massive central Florida retirement community The Villages and elsewhere.

Kincer was arrested last month in The Villages, where he lives alongside nearly 80,000 fulltime residents and which was featured in the 2020 documentary "Some Kind of Heaven." The 77-year-old has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge and agreed to have his case heard before a magistrate judge instead of a jury. If convicted, he faces up to a year in federal prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

These drugs were misbranded because Kincer obtained them without a prescription from a licensed doctor. Kincer had planned to redistribute these drugs to others locally and outside the State of Florida.

The Villages is no stranger to stories about the sex lives of its residents. Rumors about swingers, public sex and high rates of sexually transmitted diseases have swirled around the retirement haven for decades. But a report by the Tampa Bay Times last year said that the three counties containing The Villages tended to have significantly lower rates of sexually transmitted diseases compared to Florida overall.

Previously it was claimed residents were running a colour -coded system based on their swinging availability. In a video posted by drag queen Tora Himan viewed more than three million times, cycles through a series of photos of cars in a parking lot that have different coloured loofahs hanging off them.

The TikTok creator tagged the location as Florida's The Villages, the world's largest retirement community that surpasses the size of Manhattan and encompasses five zip codes, with more than 130,000 residents. Tora's video also goes on to show a chart that apparently reveals the meanings behind the loofah colors and was previously shared on Reddit three years ago.
