NINA Warhurst was left "truly touched" after she received a huge pile of gifts from BBC Breakfast fans - with some big surprises.

The 43-year-old journalist welcomed her third child - daughter Nancy - back in July.

Nina was been keeping fans up to date on her maternity leave antics ever since, and in her most recent Twitter post, shared two adorable snaps with her baby girl.

She added: "Collected the @BBCBreakfast viewers’ gifts today. A home-made baby bath apron, A postcard from the 1911 coronation, A letter from the Netherlands, A LOT (helluvalot) of knitwear.

"We’re truly touched (and slightly sweaty). Just lovely."

Nina also posted the pictures, which saw her cradling Nancy while wearing the towel apron, on her Instagram.

She added in the caption: "Mother is modelling a home-made towelling apron designed for bathing babies.

"Baby has chosen a small selection of her new summer-to-autumn 2023 knitwear collection. (the brekkers gang sure can knit).

"I’m really very touched [three love heart emojis].

"Thanks @eloise_woods96 @kellycrawf for getting the gear to Her Maj. She’ll be sufficiently sweaty til spring."

Nancy looked adorable in the pictures wearing a cream knitted cardigan and a matching hat which featured lemon pompoms on each side.

Nina was flooded with comments from her followers, with one writing: "She's a beautiful little lady lovely like her mummy."

Another added: "That's one cute baby!!!"

A third commented: "Gorgeous photos of you and Nancy. Well done Nina. Missing you on breakfast but Ben is doing a fab job."

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
