A DEVASTATED granddaughter revealed she was forced to watch her grandma be brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists as they filmed the killing live on Facebook.

Mor and Adi Bayder were left sick with worry when they couldn't get through to their grandmother, an Israeli who lived close to the Gaza border.

Fighting broke out on Saturday when the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched ruthless surprise land, air, and sea attacks on Israel, killing over 200 Israelis and leaving thousands more injured.

Amid the chaos, Mor and Adi rushed to check in on their grandmother, who has not been named.

“She told us that she was OK,” Adi shared on a Facebook post, but revealed just a short while later, she had stopped picking up the phone.

In a separate post, Mor explained how she had desperately logged into Facebook in a final attempt to see if her grandma had been active and was safe.

But once she had clicked on the profile, the grandaughter was met with the tragic sight of her grandmother's final moments.

Adi spoke out about the ordeal on Israeli TV, where she recalled opening her Facebook to immediately see her grandma on the floor in her house.

"The entire floor, covered in blood, my grandma lying there," she said.

"The terrorist just took her private phone, filmed her, and uploaded it to her private Facebook wall, that's how we found out," she added.

The two heartbroken women described their grandmother as the matriarch and “pillar” of the family in Facebook tributes.

"My grandma was the best woman I know, she was the anchor of my family, she saved me and my whole family, she had one big heart only dealing with the good in life, she never did anyone wrong for the world," Adi said in her message.

She explained that her grandma lived in the Gaza envelope in the Kibbutz Nir Oz, and was "used to sirens and more pressure".

"As soon as the sirens started we called her to see that she was fine and that she was in a protected space... a few minutes later we already found out.

"I'm broken and I miss her so much," she wrote.

Over 3,000 people in Israel and Gaza have been killed since the Palestinian militant group stormed the border and massacred hundreds in a surprise attack.

It was the deadliest assault in the country's 75-year history and has sparked days of bloody strikes and assaults.

Israel's army has now massed tanks, artillery, and thousands of elite commandos in preparation for a ground invasion.

It has also reportedly begun laying mines as it blockades the Gaza Strip, cutting off food, water, and electricity in an attempt to bring Hamas to its knees.

It comes as...

  • Israel blitzed Gaza with more heavy airstrikes overnight
  • The IDF mobilised 300,000 reservists for a full-scale ground invasion
  • More than 3,000 have been confirmed dead in Israel and Gaza and thousands more injured
  • PM Netanyahu dubbed Hamas "worse than ISIS" and said Israel will crush them with "a force like never before"
  • The terrorists threatened to execute hostages and broadcast grisly footage
  • Three British citizens have been confirmed dead, while seven other Britons are missing

Today military spokesman Richard Hecht said civilians should try to escape the dangerous scenes through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt.

However, the army later issued a clarification saying the crossing was closed, meaning no one could enter or exit.

The warning comes as Israel prepares to unleash its revenge with the first of 300,000 troops arriving on the border ready for the full-scale ground invasion.

Hamas has made threats to execute some of the around 150 civilian hostages for every civilian house bombed in Gaza without warning,

A spokesperson for Hamas' armed wing, Qassam Brigades, blamed their barbaric escalation on Israel's air strikes in Gaza City.

In a chilling threat, they also vowed to "urgently broadcast with audio and video" the brutal ISIS-style killings of Israeli civilian captives should Israel continue to hit out.

But Israel fearlessly hit back with relentless airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, pummelling the city with 600 warplanes and 300 rocket launches.

Fireballs repeatedly lit up Gaza City before dawn this morning as explosions sounded and sirens wailed.

Israel's military said it has restored control full control over the border adding that it had recovered the bodies of around 1,500 Hamas fighters.

The country's PM Benjamin Netanyahu dubbed Hamas as worse than ISIS in a damning speech where he vowed to destroy them.

Netanyahu raged: "Children were executed and entire families were exterminated by Arab Terrorists.

"There were atrocities that I will not describe here. Hamas is ISIS and we will destroy it as the world defeated ISIS."

Netanyahu vowed Israel would launch a revenge attack on Hamas "like never before".

He said on Monday evening: "We have not seen such atrocities from ISIS.

“At the end of the war, all our enemies will know it was a terrible mistake to attack Israel."

The PM added: “What we will do to our enemy over the next few days will echo for generations. Any place from which Hamas operates will turn into rubble.”

Over 260 bodies were also recovered from the Supernova music festival in southern Israel after revellers were slaughtered by gunmen on paragliders and a barrage of rockets.

The British prime minister, Rishi Sunak, said the "barbaric acts" committed by Hamas were "evil".

"Teenagers at a festival of peace gunned down in cold blood. Innocent men, women and children abducted, raped, slaughtered," he said at a COBRA meeting on Monday.

"Even a Holocaust survivor taken away as a captive. And much of the sickening evidence posted online," he added.

Israel Defence Force spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus said some 1,000 Palestinian militants took part in Hamas's attack on Saturday - which he called "by far the worst day in Israeli history".

"Never before have so many Israelis been killed by one single thing, let alone enemy activity in one day," he said.

He likened it to "a 9/11 and a Pearl Harbour wrapped into one".
