A source said: “Lizzo was privately inundated with support from people who knew her when the lawsuit was made public.
“It has been an incredibly tough time for her and she has taken a huge hit to her reputation.
"She has had a number of people interested in a sit down interview but it is an offer from (US TV personality) Gayle King that appears to be the bid she will consider.
“There is obviously still a lot going on legally and Lizzo is being guided by her team as to what would be the best course of action to take.”
Since the lawsuit from her former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez was made public, Lizzo has carried on defiantly.
But it can’t have been easy for her after she faced a huge backlash on social media.
As one of the standout leaders of the body positivity movement, Lizzo’s whole ethos and message was called into question.
At the time she said: “My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned.

At the premiere of actor and rapper Adam Deacon’s film Sumotherland, which Jaime stars in, she said: “There’s a film brewing.
“I’m producing something with my dad next year.
“It’s very much in the beginning and I don’t know if the screen’s big enough for both Winstones just yet, but it will be a historical film.”
Jaime also praised her pal Adam’s decision to open up about his mental health struggles in my column on Monday.
The actress, who appears alongside Jeremy Corbyn and Jennifer Saunders in the comedy crime caper, added: “I saw Adam’s climb and I saw his mental health wobble.
“A lot of people were very scared of that.
“I was just happy to guide him and we grew from that together.
“Ultimately I was always in awe of Adam because he was so talented.”
