LIAM SMITH and Chris Eubank Jr renew their bitter rivalry this weekend - and fight fans are wondering how much they'll be paid for their rematch.

Eubank Jr - the son of British boxing great Chris Eubank Sr - suffered a brutal fourth-round TKO loss to the former WBO light-middleweight champion in Manchester in January.

A controversial, but accidental, elbow from Smith in the middle of one of the vicious exchanges gave grounds for a big-money rematch.

Boxing fans up and down the UK - and even across the world - are wondering how the duo's second dance will play out.

But they're also wondering how much each fighter will pocket for their second Manchester melee of the year.

Former IBO super-middleweight champion Eubank Jr, according to reports, earned an estimated £2.4million for the first fight - with £1m of that sum being guaranteed before his respective cut of pay-per-view sales.

Smith, meanwhile, is said to have taken home a cool £970,000 - with £404,000 initially being guaranteed to him.

The pair's respective purses for their rematch will likely not change too drastically given the fact the terms for their second showdown were already ironed out.

Smith, however, will likely receive a bump in pay as he's now the A-side of the fight having become the first man to stop Eubank Jr last time out.

Eubank Jr, 33, is hellbent on exacting his revenge this week and remains adamant Smith is not the better fighter.
