STEPH'S Packed Lunch was in chaos today after the show appeared live on screens - without its host.
Instead it fell to the show's resident chef Simon Rimmer to front the programme instead of Steph McGovern.

Simon added, miming knocking back drinks: "It was nothing to do with the fact that she was at an awards show last night.
"She will be joining me a little bit later on - but welcome to Simon's Packed Lunch."
What buses are on strike? June 2023 routes and dates revealedSteph was among the guests at the Attitude Awards in London alongside Amanda Holden, Jess Glynne and Alex Scott.
She later appeared on a screen from the back of a car as she tried to get to the studios in Leeds.
The regular host, 41, told Simon, 60: "We were coming up from London because I was at the Attitude Awards. I didn't actually drink - or did I?
"The train stopped and it didn't get going again. We ended up getting booted off at Grantham."
She popped up during the show's regular 'cost of living clinic' - where an expert offers money-saving advice to viewers.
The star asked how she would go about getting her money back for her doomed train journey.
Steph rose to fame on the BBC, where she was a business reporter before leaving in 2019 to join Channel 4.
She was given her own programme - initially called The Steph Show - but had to broadcast it from her own lounge during the pandemic.
It eventually launched for real as Steph's Packed Lunch with its own studio in 2020.
