THE Reckoning fans are impressed at a Call The Midwife star's seriously striking transformation for the new BBC series.
Fenella Woolgar looked worlds apart from her nun alter ego Sister Hilda while channelling Margaret Thatcher in the Jimmy Savile exposé series.
Viewers of The Reckoning praised her "amazing" performance and portrayal of the former prime minister in the harrowing BBC horror.
Fenella, 54, from Hillingdon, is known for starring as Sister Hilda in Call The Midwife from 2018 to 2022.
But, she exchanged her plain habit for a bouncy perm and a blue suit and skirt for her new role.

The actress looked elegant and stern as she portrayed the first female British Prime minister who became acquainted with the sick and twisted BBC DJ.
The Reckoning viewers took to social media to pen their reactions, with one person on Facebook shared their delight at seeing Fenella on scree.
They wrote: "She plays her so well. Brilliant actress."
A second added: "Wow, she does look like her ! x.2
On X (Twitter), another viewer said: "There have been many portrayals of Maggie Thatcher but none so uncannily accurate in voice, cadence, walk and mannerisms as Fenella Woolgar in #TheReckoning."
Another followed: "If the @BBCOne ever wanted to do a show like #thereckoning about Maggie Thatcher.. they MUST have Fenella Woolfar play her! The character portrayal is just PERFECT!"
A third person echoed: "The only things creepier than Steve Coogans' stellar performance and appearance were the Maggie Thatcher scenes. #TheReckoning #bbc."
The four-part drama is produced by Jeff Pope, executive producer for ITV Studios, and executive producer and writer of the series, Neil McKay.
The show's creators have used the monster's late-in-life interviews with journalist Dan Davies, who turned them into a book called In Plain Sight: The Life and Lies of Jimmy Savile, as a framework to follow him through the years.
When asked why he made the show, Jeff said: "I think we wanted to make this series because, like the other pieces we've done over our time working together, it's an enormous and important story.

"This man was abusing and assaulting hundreds of people, essentially in front of our eyes.
"That leads to some very simple questions which we wanted to explore in this series: why and how did he get away with it? And how can we make sure it doesn't happen again?"
It displays how evil Jimmy really was as he lied, manipulated, and worked his deranged charisma on important people to gain power and influence - and worked the same angles on his victims to bring them into vulnerable situations.
The series includes interviews with some of the disgraced former TV stars' real-life victims, who offer harrowing insights into what he did to them and how they have lived with the trauma all their lives.
The Reckoning is currently streaming on BBC iPlayer.
