FURIOUS Strictly Come Dancing fans have called out the BBC series for "wanting to get rid" of one particular celebrity.

Loyal show viewers have pointed the finger at Strictly bosses after the dance routines and accompanying songs were revealed for Saturday's live programme.

BBC One regulars have flagged how comedian Eddie Kadi, 40, and professional partner Karen Hauer, 41, have been given a tricky samba - less than seven days after being placed in the dance off.

Eddie and Karen were saved by the Strictly panel on Sunday - meaning Jowita and Jody were sent packing.

Now fans fear he could be at risk again with his Latin routine to Calm Down, by Rema featuring Selena Gomez.

One fan took to Reddit to claim: "They really want to get rid of Eddie this week giving him a samba after the dance off… hahaha."

Another mused: "Worried for Eddie. Hope he nails his basic steps cleanly."

A third agreed and put: "Worried for Eddie's samba. Might try to make it too funny. Think he needs to show more ballroom after the poor scores from American smooth last week."

Another added: "Worried for Eddie with a samba post dance off."

One speculated: "I hope Eddie gets his comeback moment and does well on the samba because I know he’s got the hips for it."

Bookies William Hill Vegas appear to share fan concern.

They have analysed statistics which have flagged the samba as a contributing factor to a whopping 20.6 per cent of eliminations over the past six series.

This includes the axing of telly favourite Les Dennis from the second week of this year’s instalment.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, told us: “The Samba is often perceived as one of the trickier routines in Strictly Come Dancing, though few would have imagined it to contribute to more than one in five Ballroom eliminations since 2018.

“That statistic will ring alarm bells for Eddie Kadi, who will be braving the Brazilian dance this weekend despite scoring a shaky 24 points in last week’s episode, with the comedian our current favourite to leave the show on Sunday.

“Kadi is 13/8 with us to be eliminated this weekend, with Zara McDermott not far behind at 7/4, whilst Bobby Brazier has muscled his way into the outright favourite position alongside Nigel Harman, with the two Eastenders stars both 9/4 to win the show."
