FARMER Will Young has spoken candidly about the breakdown of his Love Island friendships as he publishes his debut book.
The 23-year-old is celebrating becoming a first-time author just months after leaving the villa.

Despite forming a close bond with Casey O'Gorman and Tom Clare as the 'three musketeers' while searching for love in South Africa, they are now no longer on speaking terms.
While singletons Casey and Tom spend their time bar-hopping on lads' nights out, Will is in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside working on his family's farm with his Love Island girlfriend Jessie Wynter.
Gemma Owen's mum makes cryptic 'fakery' dig after Love Island star's Luca splitHe's now emotionally revealed his struggle to keep friendships with people who don't understand the hard work and long hours that go into being a farmer.
"After coming off the show, my main focus was my family, the farm and Jessie," Will explained.
"I'm very, very content and very happy with where I am.
"I've got my family very close to me and I've got Jessie very close to me.
"I've had problems in the past with people not understanding the actual work that goes into farming and how time consuming it is.
"It is a lot of work, and, you know, with me working on the farm, it's not like I can skip a day and go out and party because of the animals.
"That's just life, you're dealing with it day, in day out.
"You know, you wouldn't leave a baby or a child on its own for 24 hours. It's the exact same thing with the farm animals."
Will was one of the lucky ones to walk away with love from the ITV2 reality show in January.
His instant chemistry with Australian reality star Jessie saw him fall head over heels - despite her being from the other side of the world.

"I couldn't be happier. I think I've really found the one.
"I feel very fortunate. I'm blessed."
Jessie is now living with Will at the farmhouse - and they're both determined to use their huge platforms to promote interest in modern farming.
Will - who was a famous TikTok star before going on Love Island - was offered the chance to write a book even before becoming a reality TV star.
It's out today (October 19) and aims to be a guide to life in the fields as he reveals the real inner workings of his farm in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.
Will is a sixth-generation farmer who tells a heart-warming story of adventure and humour, rooted in Will’s passion for farming and the welfare of his animals.
"I struggled with English at school, so to have been able to write a book is so exciting for me," Will said.
"I won't lie, I'm not a big reader myself and can find a a big chunky book a bit overwhelming.
"I wanted to create a book which is very easy to read, lighthearted and fun.
"It's for absolutely everybody who wants to have insight into what happens on my farm and what I do."
Will now has aspirations of turning his farming career into a television show - just like Jeremy Clarkson on his Amazon Prime series.
"It's always been a dream of mine to get put on a bigger platform, like television, and being able to showcase farming," added Will.
"There's so much I want to teach people about farming, just like Jeremy Clarkson.
"We're all fighting the same fight - to keep farming alive."
