Marmite loving music legend Sir Elton John is collaborating with his favourite savoury spread brand again.
He clearly loved last year’s Rocket Man jar, and he’s unlikely to hate this new version paying homage to his 1973 album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Featuring the iconic artwork from the record’s cover, the new pot marks the start of a three-year tie-in between Marmite and the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Marmite is donating $1,000,000 to help the Foundation continue its work to provide life-saving treatment and care in the UK and around the world to those most at risk of HIV and AIDS.
Marmite’s Laura Iliffe said: “We’re confident Marmite and Elton fans alike will be excited to welcome this new design to their collection.”
The Elton John AIDS Foundation, founded in 1992, is one of the leading independent AIDS organisations in the world. The jars go on sale exclusively at Sainsbury’s today.
