McDonald's chiefs said there had been a drop-off in customer visits and instead will focus on value meals amid concerns they were cashing in on inflation by increasing prices more than necessary. This is despite the fact thatt, in the first three months of this year, McDonald's saw its profits grow by 8.64 percent from the same period last year to a whopping $ 3.31 billion. Some of the profit increase was attributed to the increase in meal prices.
