Amanda Owen looks worlds away from what fans were used to seeing on screen as she ditched her shepherdess gear and donned a swanky ballgown.
Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda slipped into a slinky white dress as the Channel 5 favourite celebrated a big win at the Royal Television Society Yorkshire Awards. She wore a gold chain belt to compliment her floor-length gown at the bash with some fans saying they hardly recognised her.
In a post shared by Amanda's son Reuben on his Instagram account, he hailed his mum as he uploaded the snaps from the swanky do. Amanda pulled out all the stops at the glitzy awards do as she flashed some flesh thanks to the dress’ cut-out section at the back.
Reuben was quick to pen a heartwarming tribute to her following her success at the ceremony. He wrote in the caption: “Well done @yorkshireshepherdess on your programmes royal television award very proud of you.” Amanda’s fans were quick to dish out the compliments. Rushing to the comments section, one person gushed: “Congratulations! You look so beautiful.”
Another wrote: “Well done Amanda. Missing seeing your wonderful family Reuben.” Someone else said commented on Reuben's post: “What great news. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person. Well done Amanda.” Reuben, 19 is the oldest son of Amanda and her ex-husband Clive Owen, and TV viewers loved the family – including their their nine children – on the popular Channel 5 show.
Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen speaks out on Clive split as relationship 'eases'Amanda and ex husband Clive, who had been married for 21 years and share nine children together, split last year announcing the news with a joint statement. The jointly claimed: ”Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority being the happiness and well-being of our children.”
Outside of her love life, Amanda sparked concern recently as she announced the closure of the family farm Ravenseat. The farm is closed to visitors with a note on the website that reads: ”Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice, so, unfortunately, we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for your understanding. Amanda.” This isn't the first time the farm has closed its doors before. Last year the farm was shut to members of the public after lambing season had overwhelmed the farm.
