MANCHESTER UNITED have refused to talk with Juventus about a possible loan deal for Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

The English forward, 23, has been outcast at Old Trafford since a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag at the beginning of September in which he claimed he was being made a "scapegoat".

He has been heavily linked with a January move to Saudi Arabia.

It comes after interest from Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq in the summer.

However, Fabrizio Romano is now reporting Juventus have "asked for information" about Sancho over the past few days.

But the Serie A leaders are only interested in a loan move rather than a permanent switch.

And Man Utd are prepared to wait for permanent transfer offers.

Juve also expected United to pay a portion of Sancho's £350,000-a-week wages to push the move through - something the Red Devils are reluctant to do.

As a result, they are yet to begin negotiations with the two-time European champions.

As well as Saudi and Juventus, Sancho has also been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to be happy to sell him when he joins the United board following his investment in the club.

Sancho arrived from Dortmund for £73million three years ago.

But he has contributed just 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for the Red Devils.

He has also not received an England cap since October 2021.
