THIS ultra-rare Nissan could sell for an eye-watering seven-figure sum.

Dubbed a 'unicorn' for truly being one of a kind, the iconic supercar has been tipped to fetch up to $1million in Australia - which is the equivalent to £500k.

To the untrained eye, this Nissan Skyline GT-R is just another gem from the 'import racing scene' of the 90s and 00s - popularised by the Fast & Furious film series.

But this particular model is one of just 11 examples of the V-Spec II-specification built by cult Japanese tuning company Tommykaira.

Tommykaira were renowed for tuning Nissans by rebranding and reworking select models from the production line.

Speaking to 9news, Cameron Male from the Japanese Domestic Market Club, explaied how Tommykaira 'built race cars then homologated them for road use'.

Confirming the rarity of this model, he added: "After they built this one, they went out of business."

This Tommykaira is reportedly the most powerful model of its kind and the world’s fastest road-legal R34-era Skyline GT-R ever sold by Nissan.

It's also equipped with a body kit 'that is now unobtainable'.

The auction for this mega motor is currently live at Collecting Cars and will close on October 31.

This comes after a Range Rover once owned and driven by Queen Elizabeth II went up for auction earlier this week.

Meanwhile, a new electric sports car is being rolled out and fans are getting very excited over its familiar 90s look.
