Tottenham travel to Crystal Palace on Friday night hoping to maintain their fantastic start to the season which has seen them rise to the top of the Premier League table.

Spurs took a two point lead over Man City and Arsenal with a 2-0 win against Fulham on Monday night, with a short turnaround for this Friday’s match. It is a short trip across London for Ange Postecoglou’s men to face a Palace side against whom they have won their past three matches.

Palace have made a solid start to the season and are currently 11th in the table, however, they were battered by Newcastle last time out and have not scored a goal in their last two matches - something they will be hoping to correct. Roy Hodgson's side have coped well with the departure of Wilfried Zaha and will be hoping to recreate the form which saw them win 3-0 against Spurs at Selhurst Park back in September 2021.

Without European commitments this season, Spurs can go into Friday’s match knowing that it will be 10 days until their next fixture, against Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea on Monday, November 6. Here is how you can follow the action...

Team News:

Spurs’ main doubt ahead of the match was Pape Matar Sarr, who went off injured against Fulham. On Thursday, he was confirmed to be fit to play, although Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could come in to start. Spurs’ midfield could receive a further boost in the coming weeks with the return of Rodrigo Bentancur from his ACL injury, although he is unlikely to be back in action for this match. In addition, long-term absentees Ryan Sessegnon, Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon are all certain to miss out.

For Palace, Jeffrey Schlupp is a doubt following a recent injury as Roy Hodgson contends with a long injury list which includes: Michael Olise, Dean Henderson, Eberechi Eze, James Tomkins and Nathan Ferguson.
