A TIKTOK video has the internet in a spin after it brought an alarming fact to light.
The video, posted by Auto Trader UK, has racked up more than 500 likes and reveals that most drivers don't know how to use an essential button.
A woman who works at Auto Trader UK has shared her top tip for driving in the winterIt features members of staff giving their top tips for winter driving, but one woman makes the shocking disclosure.
She said: "Know how and when to use your fog lights" - an essential tip which most drivers would assume they knew.
This tip could be a life saving skill as according to Car Wow fog lights are designed to aid visibility in bad weather conditions and can cut through mist, fog, rain or even dust.

And to have "winter screen wash so it (the screen) doesn't freeze."
Viewers were quick to spring into action to add and give their own tips.
"Avoid driving in snow storms, blizzards, on ice, etc! Stock up on the necessities & avoid nonessential driving," advised one user.
"And also know when to turn fog lights off!!!" added another.
