The new film marks the return of Hugh Jackman, 54, as the character James 'Logan' Howlett, who is better known as Wolverine. He played the character in the X-Men film series.

Earlier this year, he was spotted filming a scene in London, with Ryan seen in the character's iconic red and black suit. He appeared to have been filming a car crash in the woods, with a stunt double said to have also been spotted on set. They're said to have worn Deadpool's suit "minus the eyes".
A host of actors are set to return as their characters from the previous Deadpool films, like Morena Baccarin, who played Wade's fiancée Vanessa in the previous two films. Other former cast members expected to return in the upcoming sequel include actors Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna and Stefan Kapičić.

He first played the latest version of the character in Deadpool (2016), before reprising the role in Deadpool 2 (2018), ahead of his return in the third instalment.
Little has been revealed about the actual plot, but it's clear that the storyline sees a crossover in the multiverse with Deadpool joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time after a string of solo movies produced under Fox.
As well as big name stars such as Hugh and Ryan, Jennifer Garner has been confirmed as returning with her Elektra character. It's the first time she will be back in the production after an almost 20-year hiatus.
It's been suggested that the latest movie in the series is being shot in the UK so Ryan can more easily manage his growing commitments with Wrexham AFC. He first bought the club with actor pal Rob McElhenney in 2021 and the pair oversaw an amazing promotion journey this season.
