NESTLE has discontinued two more sweet treats that Brits loved - and fans are now begging to "bring them back".

Nestle wrote in a post: "Sorry to have to give you disappointing news, unfortunately, Polo Fruits and Polo gummies has been discontinued from our range."

The food giant said these products were not as popular as others in the range.

But the news disheartened a lot of Brits who love the sweets - and now they are requesting the company to get them back.

One such fan wrote on social media: "Hey Nestle, I haven't been able to find spearmint polos in ages.

"Please tell me you didn't do to them what you did to the fruit ones and the (short-lived but I loved them) gummy ones?"

To which the company replied: "Unfortunately, our Polo Fruits and Polo Gummies were not as popular as others in the range and have been discontinued. But we'll surely let the team know you'd like to see them back."

Another said: "Do you still make fruit polo, I've not seen them anywhere for ages down in the southeast of the UK. Yet been told you can still get them up in places like Yorkshire."

Nestle replied: "Thank you for reaching out to us. We've made a note of your comment to share with the team."

It comes just a few days after Nestle axed another popular product in their UK lineup.

It confirmed it has made the “difficult decision” to discontinue the Caramac bar due to low sales.

The Caramac bar was a caramel-flavoured chocolate bar - its name is derived from the syllabic abbreviation of caramel and Mackintosh's which originally manufactured it

The iconic flavour came into play in the late 1950s with other variations making their way onto shop shelves too including a limited edition Caramac Kit Kat bar and Caramac buttons.

It was a bakery that originally broke the news on Facebook explaining their unique Caramac eclairs would soon cease to exist.

Paula of Pastel Bakery said online: “So it’s a sad day, it’s official, there will be no more Caramac bars off the production line, it’s been cancelled so I bought as many boxes as I could!

“They should last a while (I hope) but once they are gone, there will be no more Caramac eclairs! And no Caramilk or Milkybar gold are not the same!!!  #dontcancelmycaramac.”

The post quickly went viral with over 2.5million views and thousands of comments.

Facebook users flocked to share their devastation that the Caramac bar would soon disappear for good.

One user said: “Noooo. I'm still not over the Topic going!”
